I will try to describe these pieces to the best of my ability and also show in the photo's. It has not been tested in the water but by the looks of it will float. The plastic hull and starboard are solid and in great shape. Still has the Styrofoam flotation piece in the inner bow. I'm sure it won't leak.
Wiring connection for the batteries appeals to be in good shape and securely and properly attached. The boat is 65+ years old so it will have some mild scratches, scuff marks, nicks, and wear from the previous owner and many years of storage.I only wiped the dust off and will leave the deep cleaning to the new owner for the proper cleaning. 16" long x 7" wide x 5 tall.
A great find for collectors and enthusiasts of these boats and motors. Canvas Bimini top corner is fraying, and a support rear to side pole is missing.Flag and pole stanchion is missing on the stern. Battery cover / interior cabin wooden deck floor partition is missing. Interior cabin removeable wooden wall partition w/ steering wheel is missing.
Battery end clip (one of four) is missing. Windshield metal frame is slightly bent. Metal piece comes off the top of Hull in-front of windshield. This is a very rare and unique, vintage 1958 "Fleet Line" K&O model, Johnson Super Sea Horse 50 HP battery operated electronic toy outboard motor.
It is in very good cosmetic condition. Obviously the brand name Johnson in outboard motors is still well known today for quality and durability. They are highly sought after, big real ones or the mini toy ones. This toy motor is metal with the emboss marked "JAPAN", and a small hole reads "OIL". This motor is called the "Port Hole" because of it's four holes in the rear of the cowl. This is the first year that OMC made V-4 outboards. The long term running condition for this motor is unknown. I only tested it (see video) for a few seconds (being cautious) and not knowing what I'm doing. The cream colored enamel paint on the motor is in great condition. The gold lettering decals are the originals, and still look great.
The wires for connecting to the batteries are good, no cuts or cracking. The two clips that pinch to secure the motor to the back of the boat hold great, and the wires are still securely attached to motor. It has a few scratches, scuff marks, corrosion, dirt/dust, on the motor as shown in photos.I did not want to do any kind of a deep cleaning to the motor. Only wiped it off to read the decals. With Its intricate details and realistic design make it a true gem for any toy or boating enthusiast.
