Vintage 1960s Battery Operated TWA Airlines Douglas DC-9 Jet Plane Tin Metal & Original BOX. This Toy airplane is Pre-owned and has imperfections. Most, but not all of which can be seen in the pictures or described in the condition description. This plane is 16.5" from nose to tail and is 5.5" Tall and has a wing-span of 14.

The toy weighs 1 pound without batteries. The battery compartment holds 2 D-sized batteries. A VERY RARE toy from the 1960s made in Japan and of metal and some plastic. Item inspected by "1010" as it shows on one end of the original box which is damaged. The DC-9 Jet airplane was one of the first to employ the jet engine for commercial travel in 1965.
