This listing is for a fully functional, 1950's BATTERY OPERATED GALLOPING COWBOY SAVINGS BANK as shown. It is in excellent - mint condition. Tin litho is bright and shiny with no fading or loss of paint on the corners. A charming toy for your collection. This bank has been tested and works perfectly.

Battery compartment is mint as are the connections. It does have a minor spot of crazing on the inside of the battery door. To operate, just drop in a coin and the cowboy rides the horse for a full minute before stopping.

His arms wave about and his hat and body sway. A cool nostalgic glimpse into the past when these types of amusement park rides were found in front of the local department stores like S. Kresge, Woolworth, K-mart, Wal-Mart and even Target. What child did not pester their parents for a ride on one? The helicopter, the rocketship ride....... They were all so coool.......... It is listed & pictured on page 82. It is a 1960's era toy made by the Y Co.
