Vintage Suzette the Eating Monkey Battery Operated Tin Toy made by Linemar (Japan) 1950s. This toy takes 2 D batteries and the motor is working, whereas most of the motorized toys I have seen from this era are not working. The bib and, I believe, the tablecloth are not original. The original meat pieces have been replaced by 3 tin fish (see photo), though they don't drop into her mouth all the time.

I have seen these where people have used small ball bearings as the pick-up pieces.
