Vintage Remco Battery Operated Mumbo Jumbo Tumbling Elephant (not Working)

  

The controller d cell batteries don't seem to line up with the inside contacts. Controller door doesn't want to latch properly.

Body made of hard plastic. Clothing is in great condition, ears are made of felt.

Dated back of head 1969 as is the box. Some blk marks left leg above the toes. Blk marks back of head also. Box is yellowed and shows some wear all the flaps are there.
