Vintage Mechanical Battery Operated Tin Robot Sairen Japan Atomic Age RARE

  

Calling all vintage robot collectors! I cant find any other robot examples from this company!

It features a see-through, ridged body with gray plastic arms that swing back and forth, tin roller feet, and a jet pack on the back that holds two D batteries. With the batteries in place, the toggle switch on the back turns the head light on and off, but thats about it no automated walking (the legs move manually, however).

I didnt want to futz with it too much, for fear of breaking it all together. There are two spots where the clear plastic is broken and one, where it is cracked (see photos).

This piece stands 11 tall, and measures approximately 5 across and 3-3/4 deep. It has the KKK in a diamond hallmark on the mechanized interior. Im in the business of treasure hunting for cool vintage items and collectibles. Im not an antique dealer, but I do my best to describe items as best I can, pointing out any damage or concerns that are obvious.
