Vintage Masudaya Walking Knight in Armor rare 50's toy near mint Modern Toys M-T

  
This listing is for a vintage 1950's BATTERY OPERATED WALKING KNIGHT IN ARMOR as shown. It is in perfect working order. Overall condition is near mint. The remote is not original. The one shown does have a three position switch allowing the knight to operate correctly.

It is in mint condition. The wiring is intact and in good condition with no breaks or cracks.

The original rubber sword is undamaged and still flexible. The 5 correct actions of this toy are as follows: (1) The knight moves forward or backward, (2)>He moves his shield up and down, (3) He makes a "growling", voice-like sound as if cursing, (4) His helmet flashes on and off, (5) He swings his sword up and down as if to counter-attack or defend himself. It is on page 202. It is a 1950's era toy made by the M-T Modern Toy Co. Would make a fine addition to any King Arthur and The Knights of the Round Table in Camelot themed toy collection.
