This toy is in VERY GOOD WORKING CONDITION and all actions function as they should (see video)... The light in his chest comes on when he bends over and stands up, not sure if it is supposed to light more often than that or not... He walks , bends over, out stretches his arms , closes the arms to grip to pick things up , arms reset back to normal position, sets back up straight , chest light flashes...

The instruction booklet is a reprint... Overall a nice example of a very unique toy...
