Vintage Dancing Santa Claus Christmas Lantern 1950's Battery Operated Toy Lamp

  

This listing is for a 1950's BATTERY OPERATED DANCING SANTA CLAUS CHRISTMAS LANTERN LAMP w/box as shown. It is in excellent - mint condition. No rust or corrosion anywhere.

I tested this lantern and it works great. When switch is turned on, the clear bulb lights up. A nice example of a classic hanging toy lantern.

Perfect for hanging on the tree or sitting on the mantle. The Santa is made of celluloid / blow mold plastic and hangs about 6-7 inches high. It works with one "C" or "AA" batery. This is stamped "MADE IN JAPAN" on the base. Battery compartment is mint as are the connections.

This is toy lantern is made by the Marbo Co. The original box is also included.

It is in very good - excellent condition. All the flaps are intact, although they do have some clear tape reinforcements on the inside of the box. A cool addition to anyone's collection of Christmas, railroad or hurricane lamps.
