TRIC-CYCLING CLOWN BATTERY OPERATED TIN TOY IN BOX WORKS NEAR MINT JAPAN RARE 1960's. Here is a very nice TRIC-CYCLING CLOWN battery operated with original box. It is in near mint condition. Tin litho, hair, plastic and clothing are very nice & clean.

No rust or corrosion anywhere. Battery compartments (There are two) are clean with no corrosion or damage. There is a little glue staining under his belly from age. The 5 correct actions of this toy are as follows: (1) The light in the red ball flashes on and off, (2) The light in the green ball flashes on and off, (3) Left leg moves up & down cycling, (4) Right leg moves up & down cycling, (5) The clown moves forward on his trick unicycle turning and spinning around in an erratic manner. The clown's head can also be positioned from left to right.

It's a large toy at 12 inches tall. The number on the bottom is a code number that is on a piece of tape that comes off. It's made by Modern Toys Japan. The original box is in very nice condition with some light wear and a little pushed in on top and bottom.

Even has the original cardboard inset in the box. This toy is rarely seen. Would make a very nice addition to anyone's clown, circus or carnival themed toy collection.
