Rare Vintage 1954 Chevy Linemar Marx Fire Chief Battery Op Toy Car Near Mint Works. Here is a seldom seen vintage Linemar battery operated Fire Chief toy car in near mint working condition. It moves forward and backward and the red light on top lights up and rotates. I see no rust anywhere. It looks like this was made to resemble a 1954 Chevy. This was made in Japan and still has the export tag on the box shown in picture #9. The colorful box top is rough and had some repair done mostly to two split corners. The battery box is clean. I would guess this is about 1/24 scale. The car measures 8 1/2" x 4" x 3 1/2 tall.
