RARE U. S. Air Force Battery Operated JET PLANE BASE with Original Factory Box

  
Air Force Battery Operated JET PLANE BASE with Radar Control Tower manufactured by YONEZEWA Toys Japan with it's original factory cardboard box and instructions as shown in our photos. The battery compartments are in good condition and the only thing we found missing was the simple windup key which should be fairly easy to replace. The jet plane base measures 13" in length with the jet plane locked on the catapult runway, 7 1/2" wide and 7 3/4 high from the base to the top of the radar screen.

The lithographed detailing is some of the very best in toys from the 50's. The cardboard box is a real prize in itself as most of these have been damaged or destroyed over the years. The colorful display sheet on the top of the lid is terrific in outlining the launching action while the underside of the lid gives complete instructions for operation. Over the years the edge of the lid has come loose from the box however, its complete and could be restored.

This is one of the finest battery operated military toys we have ever found in its original condition and should make a sensational display item for anyone's collection of vintage 50's military toys. Just want to make that clear.
