MONKEE MOBILE 1967 IN BOX N MINT WORKS BATTERY & FRICTION MONKEES CAR. Here is the 1967 Monkee Mobile made in Japan in the original box with the styrofoam insert. The car is battery operated and friction.

The car is near mint and depicts all the members of the pop group The Monkees, there was Peter, Mike, Mickey and Davy. It has all the figures, Peter's top of his guitar has been glued back on. One drumstick is missing, part of it is in Mickey's hand.

It's 12 inches long. It does play, you will need fresh strong batteries since it plays slow and there is a vibration within that comes and goes, sometimes goes away turning it in different angles. I don't know what the "song" is it's certainly not a traditional Monkees song (I guess they didn't want to pay royalties). I've never seen another one even come close to working after all it's 50 years old. The box has wear and tear. One side panel has a lower tear, the rest is quite good including the bottom. If you are a Monkees fan back in the day like I was this will bring back some great memories. Please ask any question that you may have.
