This listing is for a vintage 1950's BATTERY OPERATED HAPPY SANTA w/box as shown. This is not a reproduction toy. It is in fine working order. Overall condition is excellent - mint.

Tin litho, plastic and clothing are nice and clean. No rust or corrosion anywhere. Battery compartment & base are nice and clean. The drum is perfect including the cellophane covering on the front and back of the drum. The 6 correct actions of this toy when operating are as follows: (1) Head moves from side to side, (2) Left arm plays the snare drum, (3) Right arm plays the cymbal, (4) Left foot plays the cymbals, (5) Right foot plays the bass drum, (6) Eyes light up. This toy has been tested and works well. This toy is listed on page 89. It is a 1950's era toy made by the Alps Co.

The box is in average-good condition It is complete, although there are a number of clear taped repairs on the lid. These drumming toys are very fun to watch. Everyone should have one in their collection.
