One of the few toys that I actually had when I was a kid was the Marx M14. I rebought my childhood toy for the first time about 15 years ago and have upgraded it as I have found better ones. One of the things that I enjoy is finding other variations of toys around the world. Many of the Remco, Marx and Topper toys have private label versions or the toy was made in another country.I had a Johnny Seven One Man Army when I was a kid and besides being made in the US they were also made in England and Canada. Topper Johnny Astros were also made or packaged in England and France. This Marx M14 clone has the same features with the recoiling front muzzle and the banging of the drum for sound effects. In addition, and what really caught my attention, was the red flashing light that only this one has. This gun was probably made in the 60's or 70's and is from Hong Kong. It is a smaller gun than the Marx but clearly it was copied (legally or illegally) or private labeled by Marx. This gun is in MINT condition with it still mounted on its backing placard and includes the box. This is for the real hard core toy gun collector.
