Mars King Robot & Rare Japanese Box

  

Here is a Mars King Robot with the original very rare Japanese writing box. This is the first time I have seen one of these boxes.

The box does show wear but is still intact. The robot is in great overall shape other than the battery connectors that were partly ruined on the top and a hole in the plastic from a battery left in. The robot works when I put a small piece of foil in the top part. It turns on , lights up, wheels move like they should. The arms don't go up all the way and it makes a sound but not as annoying as I remember the sound.

I have some small piece of electrical tape holding the treads together but they will not stay on when the robots wheels start turning. Overall a great piece to add to your collection. Easy fis to find a new battery bar although it runs fine with foil. The treads are harder to find and these usually did separate from age.

Since this is battery operated toy all sales are final. It does work with a piece of foil but should be fixed with a replacement battery bar which can be found on old toys or robot space toys.
