DELUXE READING DEFENDER DAN MACHINE GUN With BULLETS BELT WORKS INSTRUCTIONS

  

The Defender Dan is the king of all machine guns made by Remco, Mattel, Topper or Deluxe Reading. This is a nice example. This gun is complete with the belt and a full load of bullets. It is missing the front flash mechanism.

The important front wire that moves the red flashing part in and out is in perfect condition and moves in and out as it should. The legs are generally rusty or pitted having been exposed to moist environments and basements. These are bright and shiny.

It has the rear sight. The firing mechanisms on all the ones I have owned have been about the same. This one works and I tested it with the belt with bullets It is important to make sure the gun sits pretty level when shooting other wise it can jam.

That is not just this gun it is all of them. When you tilt up or down it changes the geometry of the bullet in the chamber and it can jam. It mentions it righ ton the instructions.
