Battery Op 1950's Shoe Shine Joe Vintage Tin Toy Mint In Box Japan Works Great

  

Pictured is a really neat battery operated Shoe Shine Joe tin toy from the 1950's, manufactured by Nomura in Japan. He remains in near mint to mint condition and appears to have been used very little. A few scratches are present on the tin, which may very well have been there since the toy was made. The original box is solid and other than a little shelf wear, remains in excellent condition as well and has the original insert to hold Joe in place.

Requires two "D" size batteries to operate. When powered on, Joe shines his red boot as he rotates it back and forth, the bell on his right arm rings, his pipe flashes and his head moves side to side. A short video is being included within the photos section of this listing.
