I wish I would have had one of these on my bicycle when I was a kid! This is a 1964 V-RROOM BOOSTER ENGINE made by Mattel in El Segundo, California. The Engine is in extremely nice, unused condition with no signs of actual play.

The black plastic clean and shiny with the handle and control switches a nice bright red. When you push and pull on the handle it makes either an engine sound or siren sound depending on the setting. The top plate is still shiny but does have. Down in the dimples on the chrome top piece.

The box is pretty nice for 58 yrs old with only minor shelf/storage wear. It has the original insert as well. The box colors are as nice as when new. The box and toy are original to each other and both dated 1964.

The original instruction and paper small parts envelope are still there but have some issues from age (see photos) being on the engine bolts when packaged.
