Super Nice Original Charlie Weaver Bartender. Vintage tinplate battery operated toy made in Japan by the Nomura Toys Co.

Based on a character of the same name portrayed by actor Cliff Arquette, grandfather of actors Patricia and David. This excellent example of this toy measures 12 inches tall. Charlie has 6 great actions, including shaking the cocktail shaker, pouring into his glass. Raising his glass to his mouth, smacking lips sound, face lighting. And then turning red, and smoke coming out of both ears. It works absolutely flawless, and as you can see, this is one of the finest Charlie Weavers I've ever owned, and I've had many. His shirt is bright white with no stains, His cocktail shaker is clear and the "ice" inside is still blue as is the Martini glass. Flocking on his hat is perfect, and I'm sure his tie and suspenders have rarely seen the light of day. Came packed in the original box, and has normal 60 years of shelf wear. Excellent working condition and still smokes from both ears as shown in photos. You will not be disappointed with this super nice vintage toy!
