1960 Yonezawa Japan-SIKORSKY S-61 HELICOPTER WITH SPACE CAPSULE-NMIB-Ships World. Yonezawa Battery Operated Sikorsky S61 Helicopter in excellent original working condition.

A very large toy measuring 19 inches long with a 19 inch diameter rotor, 23 inches long with the main rotor installed. This great toy features forward moving action with spinning rotor blades. The toy comes to a stop, side door opens downwards and space capsule swings in and out simulating retrieval from a successful splashdown! Requires two'D' cell batteries.

The copter works perfectly with all its actions.. Looks like it was played with perhaps once or twice but there are no real defects anywhere... The blades have some light dents on them... Certainly seem like factory made as well as some touch ups on the bottom of toy..... The rare box is a solid C-7/8 with some clean internal tear repairs and a replaced bottom and displays VERY well with toy. Any questions, please feel free to ask.
