Vintage 1956 Evinrude Toy Outboard Boat Engine by K&O. Very Clean Condition, Very Good Cosmetics. No Rust, UV Fading or Corrosion.

Long-time Displayed in Sealed Case. Tests Fully Functional & Operates on both 3 & 6 Volts DC. This listing is for one (1) Vintage 1956 Evinrude-style, Diecast Metal, Toy Outboard Boat Motor by K&O. Listed as previously-owned, this very clean, very good cosmetic, and good functional condition, low voltage, permanent magnet.

Type, electric motor operates the output prop smoothly and correctly. Smooth motor operation was verified utilizing both 3 Volts DC, and then 6 Volts DC, utilizing a regulated DC Power Supply at the time of this listing. Both blue and white Paint coatings appear overall very good, original, and without fading. At very close viewing, there are several tiny white paint voids visible just below, and one just above the "Evinrude" name decal that is located on one side of the engine cover housing.

Also a small paint void line visible immediately below the topmost screw head, located on the square, white, front engine cover housing plate. All Decals are original, in clean, bright, and legible condition; and each is firmly adhered to the blue, paint-coated, metal die-cast engine covers, and/or white front cover plate. The 3-blade, chromed steel output drive propeller is clean, bright, and both rust-free and ding-free.

Both transom cups have been removed to allow for a more-secure mechanical mounting to a plate-reinforced model boat transom. An Aluminum, counter-sunk, custom-machined transom plate was bonded to the model wooden boat to which this motor was originally attached. The Aluminum plate referenced remains bonded to the model boat, is not shown, and is not part of this listing. The original pale-blue/turquoise-color Battery connection wires, insulated red & black wire sleeves, and both "U" ring battery connectors are very clean and robust, corrosion-free, and ready for immediate connection to an optional battery box, if desired. The pivoting, On/Off control switch blade, located in the lower motor housing cover opening, operates smoothly, with secure on or off locking action and good control of the battery power.
