1950's Ichiko/Kanto Japan-TAXI CAB-YELLOW CAB-BANK-Bat-Op-NM-Rare Car! Yellow Cab Taxi car that is also a Bank made in Japan by a dual manufacture of Ichiko and Kanto toys in the 1950's. This tin car has popping yellow and red lithographing with TAXI on roof that lights up when activated and tin luggage rack on the roof, complete with a piece of tin luggage The car has top notch lithographing which depicts the super realistic driver and female passenger from every angle through each window? Making it appear as if they really are inside of this car!

The car features all original parts: roof rack, wheels, hubcaps, hood emblem, Taxi sign, bumpers and more! Wonderful, original, complete C-9+ condition with original suitcase.... Rarely found in higher grade, complete and working.

Insert coin into front slot and taxi will run for a short while as the top taxi sign lights up... Then stops, waiting for another coin. There is a coin compartment with separate cover to hold the falling monies. VERY small amount of pitting in the battery box which can be seen at the top tab in pic, very small.....

Fantastic toy and probably one of the best vintage taxis ever made. Great litho all over windows with sharp, clean chrome trim everywhere. Toy appears practically unplayed, C-9+/Near Mint.
