"OUTBOARD MOTOR" BATTERY-OPERATED TOY - Late 1950s - Early 1960s Langcraft / Japan. 2.5" x 3.75" x 1.5.

White litho on plastic & metal. We are offering a well-made water toy with working battery-op motor.

When turned on (via a "stick-shift" switch), the motor turns the propeller. This toy has been tested with a D battery and is in operating condition. The battery terminals (on wire ends) appear very clean.

No oxidation rust is visible. Also included is the original 2.75" x 4" x 1.5 highly graphic & colorful cardboard box with original inner cardboard support.

Langcraft products are considered to be among the higher quality and better made water toys. Overall, a nice representative working example with great eye appeal. Condition of MOTOR is considered GOOD with moderate surface/stain/edge wear.

Scattered spot surface scuffing with no breaks or cracks apparent. This is a working example. We feel the graphic integrity of this toy is quite appealing.

Condition of BOX is considered GOOD to FAIR with moderate surface/stain/edge wear. Staple oxidation with mild surface creasing. No tears, chips, or edge separations.

Colors & imagery are still bold, bright, and attractive. Overall, we feel this toy is a very displayable & serviceable representation by most standards (see photos). It would make a great original display for the vintage BATTERY-OP TOY enthusiast. On a condition code scale of 1 to 10, the above listed item(s) rated - Motor (8), Box (7).
