One yellow light cover has a very small crack in it. COMES WITH the periscope-hugging astronaut that is usually the first piece broken and lost. The periscope/astronaut rotates continuously when the rocket is in motion.
ALL MECHANICAL FUNCTIONS WORK flawlessly. The bumpers realign the rocket and keeps it moving forward when it strikes an object. The red, yellow, and green lights flash continuously. It makes the chirping sound of the radar system. The gears and motor are as strong as they were when it was made.
It's as if it had been stored in a hermetically-sealed container for 60 years. It is pristine in every way save one--I don't have the original package/box it came in.
