This listing is for a fully functional, hard to find, vintage BATTERY OPERATED BEAUTY PARLOR BEAR WITH LIGHTED DRYER STAND w/box as shown. It is in excellent - near mint condition. No repairs or missing parts.

When switch is turned on the following 9 correct actions occur: (1) Beautician's/ Barber's head moves front to back, (2) Hair dryer lights up red, (3) Beautician moves left hand with comb back and forth, (4) The beautician's curling iron in right hand opens and closes, (5) Baby bear leans forward away from the beautician, (6) Baby bear makes a crying/squeaking sound as if afraid, (7) Baby bear turns head toward the book in her hand, (8) Baby bear waves both arms up and down, (9) Baby bear kicks at the apron. This toy has been tested and works great.

Battery compartment is clean as are the connections. It is listed on page 29. It is a 1950's era toy made by the Suzuki and Edwards Horikawa Co. And distributed by the T-N Nomura Co. The original box is included.

It is in fair / average condition. It does have a number of clear tape repairs. Nice graphics on the box. A nice toy to compliment to your Make-Up or Barber Bear toys.
