Mint 1960's Battery Operated Haunted House Mystery Bank Perfect Tin Litho

  

This listing is for a fully functional, vintage, BATTERY OPERATED HAUNTED HOUSE MYSTERY BANK as shown. This is very cool toy bank. It is in excellent - near mint condition. Tin litho is perfect with no crazing or spidering. No scratches, dents or dings.

Colors are as new, clear bright. Plastic parts decals are nice.

This is a darker plastic version. A bit more sinister in appearance. The action of this toy is as follows: Place a coin on the front doorstep, contact is made, the porch light comes on and off 4 times, (other versions stay on continuously during operation), and then the doors open slowly revealing a ghost-like / grim reaper figure moving forward to cover the coin, then... The figure retreats with the coin and the doors quickly slams shut....

Process is repeated when another coin is placed on the doorstep. It has been tested with dimes, pennies, nickels and quarters which all work as designed. It is pictured listed on page 90. It is a 1960's, MADE IN U.

Toy made by Brumberger Co. It was distributed by Disney as a Disneyland promotion. This would make a nice addition to any collector of Monster, Dracula, Wolfman, Munsters, Adams Family, Witch, Skeleton, Black Cat, Halloween toys etc...... A very nice, hard to find toy in this condition.
