Vintage SH Horikawa Battery Operated Dino-Robot Tin Toy, Japan Godzilla Monster

  
Up for sale here is the elusive Dino-Robot toy made by SH Horikawa. An incredibly rare toy, Made in Japan. A classic robot design with a Godzilla inspired head hiding inside. Very fun piece that just doesn't come up for sale! There are reproductions around but this is the original!

There is some damage to the plastic outer head as pictured. A chip around the nose area and a hole to the left of the mouth. A common issue for this toy as the plastic is so brittle. Tiny indent on the right side'cheek' too.

The chipping is only to the left side so if you could source a replacement part to swap out this would be a great example! Otherwise the robot is in very clean condition cosmetically. Minimal wear, Slight tarnishing in places, exactly as pictured. The battery functionality remains untested. Minimal signs of staining to the battery compartment indicating there may have been leakage at some point but overall it looks very clean (see pictures). I don't have these batteries at the moment but will get some to test this and update the listing when I do.

The box is fully original and in good condition overall. Edge wear and a few tears as pictured. The graphics and text are intact and very bright.
