All buttons work but the sound is just a crackle on the blank side off the cassette tape, it seems to play fine on the side that has the clips of the movie recorded.

I have tried recording but all I can get is a crackle. It comes with the original home alone 2 cassette tape. The original box is in good/fair condition, the front flap is torn out on one side and the other side is just about hanging on.
