1960s WALKING ESSO TIGER Battery Toy/Robot by MARX Complete RARE

  
This listing is for a vintage WALKING TIGER made by Marx in the 1960s. Based on the Esso Tiger, the toy stands approximately 12 inches tall and is made of tin with faux fur, plastic head, and beautifully lithoed remote control (similar to Marx Yeti and Mighty Kong). It is in excellent condition overall complete with the flower bouquet and hat. The battery box is clean and the whiskers are present on the face, though you can't see them in the photo.

Works great--walks along with turning head, swinging arms, and tiger sound. The motor runs strong, albeit a bit loud.
