Made in Japan in the 1960`s by Horikawa, of all tin construction with some clear plastic for the lighted guns and a translucent green see-through plastic in front of the guns, and below on the doors for effect. Measures 11 inches tall with a dark brown/bronze body and legs, with red shoes. The interior of his chest is filled with lights and gauges, textured and pierced metal, and detailed circuits of lithographed tin. Then add the sound of the guns ablazin`, and you have all the makings of sheer terror... But wait, he also walks, and moves his arms back and forth.

The robot is in brand new condition with all the cardboard inserts with the original box. There are a couple of problems, the On/Off switch is partially broken off and while he works, he only stops when you remove a battery. Also the doors do not open, (they want to) perhaps it has to do with the spring mechanism. The very rare original box has some rubs to the front left edge and some very small bit of creasing (about 1 inch) to the lid at three of the corners. Displays well and would make an excellent addition to any Japanese robot or tin toy collection.
