1950's LINEMAR BATTERY OPERATED TELEPHONE BEAR TIN LITHO TOY JAPAN

  
Up for sale is a fully functional battery operated, authentic telephone bear which includes the original box. It is in mint condition, with bright and clear colors. Tin, fur & clothing are clean and in excellent condition. There is no rust or corrosion anywhere on this fine toy. If the switch is left on, the process continues to repeat itself. This is a very nice toy that you would be proud to display in your collection.

This toy has been fully tested and works great, with no damage of any kind. The battery compartment and the connection tabs are in mint condition.

The original box is in very good to fine condition, with the expected shelf wear, with a minor amount of scotch tape on the box bottom. This is a "Made in Japan" dating back to the early-mid 1950's and was made by the Linemar Toy Co. You will find this toy listed in a book entitled, COLLECTOR'S GUIDE TO BATTERY TOYS on page 185.
