Vintage Tin B/O Douglas C-124 Globemaster Airplane by Yonezawa of Japan, 1960's

  

Super nice and very brightly colored battery-operated Douglas C-124 Globemaster. Made by Yonezawa of Japan during the early 60's. It comes in a very colorful USAF Military Air Transport Service livery. It has a length of 18" (455 mm) and a wing of 20½"(520 mm).

It has a nice sequence which consists of. Running forward with its four propellors revolving, the top light is burning. The plane comes to a halt, switching off its two outer engines and then the two inner ones; meanwhile the loading bay doors open and the loading ramp appears, carrying three military vehicles. The loading ramp retracts again, the doors close, the two inner propellors start to revolve, followed by the outer ones and the plane starts to move again, repeating this sequence. Overall: the plane is in very good working condition with a clean battery compartment.
