Vintage Road Construction Roller DAIYA Japan Battery Operated Toy With Box

  

For your consideration is a rare vintage Road Construction Roller Toy made by DAIYA Japan. This great piece has vibrant colors, nice details, amazing look, and has original box. This toy appears to only have been taken out to be tested and displayed. It has visible front sides and top for engine and piston movement.

Construction worker sits at the wheel. The toy does have some scratches thoughout and some paint chips. Box has some fading and wear but is in presentable condition. Does come with original cardboard inserts as it would have had originally. 9 inches wide 5 1\2 wide.

I did test with 2 D batteries (not included) and toy did hesitate but did move and light up with Pistons moving. Impressively these toys often do not work over time. Please be aware that there is no guarantee on life of working condition and should be considered as display piece.
