My description may not be right. So look at pictures and YOU decide what shape the item is in. The motor stand doesn't come with motor. I don't see any chips or paint loss. This is a reproduction motor. Lower end of motor is made of metal. All screws are in good shape. Maybe you need motor to complete your collection/?
