ALPS LINCOLN FUTURA CONCEPT CAR TIN BATTERY OPERATED REMOTE CONTROL TOY w/Lights. Toys of Times Past is pleased to offer this Rare Original, Vintage 1950s Alps Lincoln Futura Experimental Concept Car Tin Battery Operated RC Toy with Operating Headlights. Made in Japan, this toy was produced in several versions. The common version has a friction motor. The second version is battery operated and the third and rarest version is battery operated and remote controlled. The car was also produced in three color variations. The common color is red. The second color is black and the rarest color is silver. This Futura is the rarest version with the rarest color variation. The toy is all original, complete and in excellent condition with operating headlights. The battery compartment is clean and free of rust and corrosion. It works good and travels both in forward and backward directions when the two buttons are used.

The remote steering does not work. It appears that the wire is crimped.

Made in Japan is printed on the inside of the driver side door. This will make a rare addition to your collection! I take time, pack with care and use sturdy boxes, bubble wrap and packing peanuts.
