This listing is for a River Monster PLEASANT KAPPA battery toy made by ATD (Asakusa), Japan, in the 1960s. The toy is 10 tall and made of tin with a cloth jacket and faux hair. It is in f ine condition overall with a clean battery box. Still works great--turn the toy "ON" and the action is started by pulling the string leash. The head and mouth move with lighted eyes and squeaking sound, and then stops ready for the next pull of the string. Includes the original box with insert. The box has a bit of gift-tape residue and some light creases, but still very nice overall and displays great.
