This listing is for a NUTTY NIBS battery operated toy made by Linemar (Marx Toys) in the 1950s. It is a large toy, measuring approximately 12 tall and made of tin. Nibs is in good condition overall with a clean battery box. Still works (see video below). Hysterical action--Nibs throws the "nut" into his mouth and swallows it with closing mouth, rolling eyes, and chattering sound; then automatically repeats the action. There is an adjustment screw under the throwing arm to get the aim just right, depending on the strength of the battery. Note that the tray is not original, though replacements are available online.
